Help promote Meat
- Buy the book: Pre-orders make a big difference in whether bookstores and libraries order the book, whether media outlets review the book, how/whether the publisher promotes it, and so on. Order on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Bookshop, and more.
- Review it: Once you read it, please post a review on Amazon and B&N (and Goodreads if you’re a member).
- Share with your list: If you have an email list, please share your review.
- Share on social media: Social media is a great way to generate buzz (please tag me on LinkedIn, Facebook, Insta, or Twitter/X).
- For inspiration: Here’s the press release, and here are some endorsements.
- Ask your local bookstore and library to stock it. It’s an attractive book – the kind that would look great on display (in my admittedly biased opinion).
- Please print out the press advisory and pass it along to the librarian or bookstore buyer. Feel free to bring your copy along to show them!
- Podcasts/Media: Let me know if there’s a particular podcast or journalist who you think would be interested in chatting with me about the book. Please send to book@gfi.org.
- Extra credit if you can make an introduction.
- Recommend Meat to book clubs: If you’re part of a book club, please recommend Meat.
- You may want to share the advisory and/or this website.
- Gift the book: Please consider giving Meat to your friends and family.
- Suggest for course adoption: If you’re a professor or student, think about how Meat might plug into your curriculum (or to the curriculum of one of your classes).
- Organizational purchases: Do you work at a company that might be interested in bulk-buying the book for an event or staff?
- Events: If you’re connected to someone who works on events, corporate retreats, or similar endeavors, consider recommending that they invite me to give a talk or participate in a fireside chat.
- Anything else you can think of! Have I forgotten something good? Tell me here!
